Career Development Workshop
What is it?
The career development workshop is designed to provoke some very deep thinking about what makes you tick, who you are and what you want. We will look at your personal career time line and discover how you got to be where you are now and what experiences can help or hinder where you want to go in the future. Together we will begin to create your own personal vision and action plan with depth and richness to help you seek out and make the right career choices for you.
The workshop is a 2 day event and includes a free follow up one to one coaching session.
At the end of the workshop you should expect to have the answers to the following questions:
Who am I?

- My life goals
- My talents/skills
- My interests/passions
Where have I come from?
- The journey so far
- The things that will help me move forward
- How I sabotage myself

Corporate Packages
Our corporate packages are designed to support individuals to self manage their own career development.
All three trainers have come from business backgrounds working for companies such as Argos, Nationwide Building Society, The Body Shop, Marks and Spencer and Sainsburys.
They have an in depth understanding of the corporate world and the skills that individuals need to go forward in their own careers. Both Jean Sargent and Libby Selby have had extensive experience in Human Resources and Learning & Development while Diane Ashworth was Senior Manager within the Marketing Department of a FTSE 100 retailer responsible for both her own career development as well as mentoring and coaching members of her teams.
This valuable combination of experience together with professional coaching skills have led to the development of the Career Development Workshop. This core workshop can be adapted to meet the needs of any business whether the focus is on developing people within their current roles, redundancy or those with future potential.
We also believe that the Career Development Workshop is best followed up by a series of ‘One to One’ Career Coaching sessions to ensure that the individuals vision is fully developed and supported.
